SCC aims to improve the quality of life of its users by:
 
· Providing them with the information, advice and support they need.
· Raising their awareness and their confidence through empowering and capacity building activities.
 
· Improving their access to available services from statutory/non statutory organizations.

The Centre also aims to promote the participation of the Somali community in Britain's multi-cultural society whilst at the same time encouraging them to preserve its cultural identity.
